It’s that time of year again – the first hot days of the year are here. 
Please bear the following points in mind on days like these: 
 

• Take your dog for a walk early or late in the day, when it’s not yet too hot. 

• 
  Do the back-of-the-hand test: if you can’t keep your hand on the ground for more than 7 seconds (because it’s too hot), then it’s too hot for your dog’s paws too. 

• 
  Make sure your dog has plenty of water!

• Let them run around outside on the grass.
